Welcome RH Factor Guitars!

Hi, my name is Ralph Halsey and I am a part time luthier and a full time guitar enthusiast. I started this small company with one thing in mind and that was to build the best guitars and supply the best parts that the hard working musicians could afford. I think I am on my way to accomplishing that.   From time to time I run across great deals on the web and I will pass the savings on to you. We are authorized Tonerider Pickup, Trem King Tremole, Super-Vee Tremolo, V-Pick, Allparts and WD Music dealer. We offer our customers a 30% discount for orders over $50.00 on most items through Allparts and WD Music.

Whats New!

Tonerider will release 4 new effects pedals in the first quarter of 2008. They were designed in conjunction with Texan tone guru Brad Ferguson, Their new range of analog pedals will deliver killer tones in a stylish, simple package with features normally only seen on the highest price “boutique” effects pedals. They will deliver the tone that all quitarists desire at prices the working musician can afford.  The British Distortion and American Overdrive will be with dealers first, with the SuperLush Chorus and Compressor following soon after. Hopefully, we will have these in stock soon! Keep checking back. For more info, click on the picture.

Andrew Cunningham over at Tonerider Pickups winds some of the best pickups on the market. They just release their new Humbucker Size P-90 named the REBEL 90 and boy is it going to be a big hit!  Tone test show that this P-90 is a little hotter than the standard P-90 with a richer, tighter more punchy tone. We stock the full line of Tonerider pickups.

We just became an authorized dealer for 2 new tremolos. The first is from Trem King. The system uses a fixed bridge design where the bridge plate is fixed to the body of the guitar. The saddles are fixed to the bridge and do not move. The intonation point and string height never change as with many other designs. All the action happens inside the guitar. And the best part is NOTHING happens until you touch the vibrato bar.

The bar inserts directly into the tone block for the best leverage. The tone block pivots back and forth to provide the vibrato action. The TREM KING is able to act as a fixed bridge because the critical balance of string tension versus spring pressure combined with the patented Tension Bar. The tone block only moves when the vibrato bar is moved. When you use the vibrato bar, the tension bar brings the tone block back to the same Zero Point time after time. Two springs are normally all that are necessary to provide this balance. This allows for very light (2 lbs.) pressure to actuate the vibrato. The feel is precise and smooth.

Along with the exclusive Grip Tip Vibrato Bar that has an adjustable rubber tip, the TREM KING is a joy to play. There is no locking nut necessary on the TREM KING. You can drop tune and not have to re-tune all the other strings. If you break a string while playing, your guitar will stay in tune and you can finish the song. The strings are easily and quickly replaced by loading through the bottom of the tone block with no cutting or special tools necessary.  Check it out at www.tremking.com.

The next trem you will see is from Super-Vee. The bridge has that classic look but is jam packed with new technology. The revolutionary pivot system is so subtle you hardly know it's there but it quietly works to bring your guitar back to perfect pitch every time. How do we accomplish this? First, understand that friction is the enemy of all vibratos Every other bridge pivot system on the market today, including ball bearing pivots, tend to "stick" in the wrong position primarily due to friction and wear. They can change and wear out over time. This of course results in loss of tune and inconsistent action. The patented Super V "blade" design is completely frictionless and can never wear out. In fact the bridge would return to zero even without the return springs! It's so simple you'll wonder why it hasn't shown up before! The frictionless blade provides super smooth action that you'll love.

The blade is made from high tensile strength tempered steel. It is permanently bonded to the bridge and the anchor plate and nickel plated for years of trouble free service. The SuperVee locking nut is precision cast from super-tough stainless steel, nickel plated to classic luster, then laser engraved for a fantastic look. The patented T-shaped design drops into the existing nut slot with the string clamp (collet) portion resting on the headstock face.

The nut and string clamp are cast as a single ultra-rigid piece connected by a solid steel bar. The slots in the nut are precision machined at the factory for perfect string action for both a 7 ¼" neck radius or a 9 ½" neck radius! If you have taller frets or just a heavy hitter the nut can be raised using the shims supplied in the kit.

The strings are clamped from the side (not from the top as in other vibratos), maintaining a "natural" path for the strings.
